Wayne D. Paul
Amesbury, Massachusetts – Newton, New Hampshire
June 25, 2025
Wayne D. Paul, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025. He was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts, and resided for many years in Newton, New Hampshire, where he built a life filled with hard work, deep love, and quiet devotion to family.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Carol; his son Ian (and his wife,Stephanie), and his daughters Tish (and her husband, Aaron), Loreen (and her husband, Tim), Christine, and Stefanie. He was a proud grandfather “Bumpa” to Abby, Benjamin, Ethan, Jamie, Kelley, Noah, Owen, Richard, and a great-grandfather to Leighton and Merrick. He also leaves behind numerous brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart, especially his beloved niece, Sheila.
He served in the U. S Army Reserves followed by a long career as a plumber pipe-fitter at General Electric in Lynn, MA.
A man of many talents, Wayne took great pride in the home he built with his own hands. Over the years, he shared that home and his love of a large variety of animals with his family and could often be found in his barn tending to them — or as his family fondly recalls, “playing with the water.” His presence there was a familiar and comforting sight.
Wayne’s greatest joy came from time spent with family and was eternally devoted to his wife, Carol, whom he married in 1976. He especially loved cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events, always their proudest supporter.
A private celebration of life will be held for family at a later date. Wayne’s legacy of love, craftsmanship, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
