Theresa Jacquelyn “Jackie” Boudreau, 96, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and quiet strength. Jackie was born, along with her twin sister June, on January 14, 1929, in Amesbury, MA to parents Bernard and Catherine (Dow) Greaney.
Jackie married the love of her life, Joseph Robert “Bob” Boudreau, in 1953. Together, they raised three children—Ann, Rob, and Dana —and made their home in the close-knit Pearl Street neighborhood of Amesbury. The family were devoted members of St. Joseph Church, where faith and community were central to their lives.
Jackie was very proud to be one of the “Greaney Girls,” along with her sisters June, Kay and Paula, all of whom predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Bob, who passed in 2001, and by her cherished daughter, Ann, who passed in 2003.
She is survived by her sons J. Robert Boudreau, Jr. and his wife Ellen of Concord, NH, and Dana T. Boudreau and his wife Anna of Dover, NH. She also survived by her six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who brought her great joy, along with many nieces and nephews who stayed in touch with her, a source of great pride for her.
Jackie lived in Amesbury until 1974, when the family moved to Chester, New Hampshire. She worked for many years and retired from Digital Equipment Corporation, where she was respected for her dedication and strong work ethic.
After retirement, Jackie and Bob moved to Florida, where they enjoyed golf and the many new friends made in the Timber Pines community. Summers were spent in their camper in Arundel, ME, allowing them to stay close to their family and spend summer days at Gooch’s Beach in Kennebunkport. In 2012, she returned to New Hampshire and made her home on Northam Drive in Dover, where she became an active member of the community and formed many meaningful friendships in her new neighborhood and the Dover Senior Center.
The family would like to thank the wonderful medical staff at Seacoast Dialysis in Portsmouth, NH for their support and personal attention.
Arrangements are being handled by Jutras and Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend Street, Amesbury, Massachusetts. A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a short service. Private burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jackie’s memory to the American Kidney Fund.
Jackie will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a steady, caring presence to all who knew her. Her warmth, resilience, and deep devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
