Selva Jean Kimball of Amesbury passed away at Anna Jaques Hospital on May 4, 2026. She was born on January 23, 1937 in Belfast, ME., daughter of the late Rev. Everett P. Kimball and Myrtle (Moulton) Kimball.

   Selva attended Faith School of Theology in Brooklin, ME. She enjoyed playing the piano, writing music, poems, and enjoyed gardening.She also was an avid lover of nature and enjoyed many walks on the beach with her sister Methyle.

   Selva is survived by her nieces and nephews, Blaine Kimball, Janet Kimball Crook, John Kimball, Donna Gerrish, Mickey Kimball Locke, James Durling, Connie Kimball Corbett, Kim Durling and Randy Durling.

   In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Lewis Kimball, Elwyn Kimball, Howard Kimball, Methyle Kimball Durling, nephew Robert Cecil and niece Nancy Kimball.

   Burial will be private per her wishes. She was a member of the Newburyport Assembly of God and was very close with pastor Don Maranville and his wife Debbie. Selva's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
