Philip Paglierani passed away peacefully after a brief hospitalization.  He was born April 7, 1942, the son of Tilio Paglierani and Stella Gedarewicz.  He grew up in Cambridge and attended Northeastern University. He married Maria DiFruscia of Methuen who predeceased him in 1994.

Phil had a storied technical career, having quickly advanced into the new field of computing.  He worked as a field engineer for NCR from 1962 to 1969.  With that backgroound.  he then spent a number of years working as the National and Internation Technical Sales Manager for Perfect Pack ( Societe’ Prepac de France).  The president of the company counted Phil as a friend and provided accommodations for Phil on his different trips to France.  Being Sales Manager for an international company afforded Phil many opportunities to travel abroad and he spoke often of his many memories of doing so.

The desire to be self employed directed Phil to pursue electrician’s licensing.  He obtained a Journeyman’s license and followed that with a Masters license , being licensed in Mass, NH and Me.  He started his first company called PQRS, Power Quality & Reduction Specialists  after leaving PrePac .  That was followed by Able Electrical Contracting of Atkinson NH, which eventually added Elba Lighting to his many business ventures.

In 2007 Phil married Frances Girgenti of Amesbury, a marriage that had them travel as much as their busy schedule allowed.  Helping Fran manage the farm was a task Phil truly enjoyed.  He especially loved being around the horses and marveled at the antics of the 2 Nigerian Dwarf goats. His dog, Mac, is not the only one who misses him.

Phil is survived by a brother, Victor of Hull, Ma. and a sister Sylvia Bullock of Mississauga Canada, as well as several nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Jeanette Paone of Watertown Ma.
