In Loving Memory of Pamela Brown
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pamela Brown, age 61, of Amesbury, MA, who passed away on July 5, 2026. Pamela will be remembered for her compassionate heart, infectious sense of humor, and her extraordinary ability to make everyone she met feel like family. While she spent many years working as a bartender and waitress, her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was raising her three children, whom she loved unconditionally.
She had a lifelong love of animals, especially cats, and enjoyed gardening, shopping, and watching true crime shows. She always looked forward to hearing the latest life updates from her daughter, Taylor, in New York, and treasured spending time with her daughter Alex, whether it was going to the movies, sharing lunch together, or enjoying a day at the fair. She was also a passionate advocate for others and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
One of the happiest chapters of her life was her recent job as a bus driver for special education students. She loved the children she transported and took great pride in making a positive difference in their lives each day.
Pamela is survived by her mother, Donna Whalen; her brother, Michael Whalen; her children, Taylor Brown and Alexandria Brown; and her nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Whalen, and son, Kenny Brown.
Calling hours will be held on July 16 at 5-7pm at E.V. Jutras and Sons FH 118 Friend St. in Amesbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a local animal shelter of your choosing.
Pamela will be remembered for her kindness, laughter, unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
