Jean (Lord) Farmer, 90 passed away on October 7th peacefully at her home with the love of her family by her side.
Jean was born 4/30/1935 in Boston, Mass. She was predeceased by her parents Ruth (Lowe) and Asa Lord. She was raised by her grandmother Sarah Judson in Byfield, Mass. which she was very proud of.
Jean other wise known as ( Nana Farmer) to her grandchildren and, great grandchildren always loved to make a connection with anyone she would meet. She loved to go to the Legion in Seabrook, NH to dance her Saturday night away with her friends. We know she is dancing in heaven. Her heart was kind, giving and her door was always open to everyone.
Jean had worked many jobs throughout the Town of Amesbury, her favorite was working for the Amesbury schools she was a teacher aide, for over 30 years. she enjoyed helping many students in her own special way.
Jean had a great sense of humor and a kind soul, she was a friend to everyone. She was a wonderful person who will remain forever in our hearts. Her stories will be told forever.
Jean was predeceased by her husband John J (Jack) Farmer,Jr. and her son Jeffrey Farmer. She leaves behind her 7 children, Joni Farmer, Jamie Farmer and wife Laurie, Julie Guilmette and husband Russell, Jason Farmer and wife Debbie, Jon Farmer, Joel Farmer, and Joy Farmer. 14 grandchildren, Tyler Gadwah, Lindsey Sidilou, Morgan DiRusso, Brittany Hasslett, Leigha Strogney, James Guilmette, Olivia Farmer, Jacqueline Farmer, Joshua Farmer ,Caleigh Perkins, Kelsey Farmer, Jackson Farmer, Cole Farmer and Kyle Farmer as well as 11 great-grandchildren, we all loved her very much.
We would also like to thank Sara, Janet, and Cara for their kind and compassionate care as well as the BILH Hospice Team.
