Eleanor "Ellie" Berube

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Eleanor “Ellie” Berube. She passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Ellie was a beloved wife, mother, and nana. She is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Albert Berube; her daughters, Sue (William Goss) and Terry Berube; and her cherished grandchildren, Tyler Goss (Jillian), Erin Rychalsky (Dan), and Jillian Collins. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Zoey Brown, Tyler Thomas Edward Goss, Leonard Michael Goss, Keegan Collins, and Alana Collins.

She was predeceased by her son, Michael Berube (Joy).

Ellie had a love for quilting and the arts, including drawing and painting, and she found joy in gardening. She was a generous soul who brought kindness into the lives of many.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MSPCA at Nevins Farm.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday April 23, 2026 at 11:00 am in th Union Cemetery in Amesbury.

Arrangements are by the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home in Amesbury.
