It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister Dorothy J. (Pearson) Homans who peacefully left us on August 30, 2025 at the age of 83. Dottie was born in Danvers Mass to the late Floyd W. Pearson and the late Esther Maxwell.       Dottie lived a life filled with love, kindness and unwavering strength. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, Dottie was a cornerstone of her family and a beacon of light to all who knew her. She was known for her love of family, reading, travel, crochet and Marty’s old fashioned honey dip donuts. She especially enjoyed her trips to Hawaii and Aruba. Dottie was a member of the first graduating class from Masconomet Regional High School and was a proud member of the Girl Scouts. She enjoyed watching her favorite New England sports teams with her husband Maynard. 

 Dottie is survived by her loving spouse Maynard E. Homans of NH; her son Jeffrey M Homans and his fiancee Stefanie of ME; her daughter Cathy J Poole and her spouse Kenneth of NH; her grandchildren Emily, Ashley, Janet and Katie; her sister Diane (Terry) Gorby of MA and her brother Jim Pearson of VA. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dottie was preceded in death by her brother William Pearson. 

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
