Doris Cynewski, 95, of 38 W. Main St. in Merrimac, MA. passed away Tuesday Feb. 25, 2025 at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport. Born in Amesbury, MA. on June 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Edna Yelle. She was the wife of the late Roland Lalumiere, the late John Cynewski, and her late companion Warren Ross. 

   Doris loved to knit, crochet, and doing puzzles. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching old movies. Also in her younger years, she loved dancing, singing, playing the organ and was an active member of her church. Doris was a very kind and loving person and was very funny. Everyone who knew her would say how funny she was. She loved animals, especially cats and of course her birds. She was just so special to everyone who knew her and she will be truly missed by all. R.I.P. Mom! 

   She is survived by her son Normand Lalumiere and his wife Judy of Danville, NH., her daughter Terry Gautreau of Hookset, NH., daughter Jeannette Teal of Merrimac, MA.  and son Paul Lalumiere also of Merrimac, MA. She was mother of the late Raymond and Donna Lalumiere. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, her brother Robert Yelle of Indiana, 3 sisters, Sylvia Donohue of Maine, Pauline Grant and Donna Story both of Merrimac, MA and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Wanda Roy, Al Yelle, and her twin sister Dorothy Francoeur. Services will be private.
