Derron Giovanni of East Falmouth passed away on August 31, 2024, at the young age of 30.
He was the cherished father of Meadow and loving fiancé to Rachel Colameco. Derron was the beloved son of Danielle Giovanni and a dear brother to Howard and Paetyn, of Newton, New Hampshire. He was a treasured grandson to John and Katherine Giovanni, of Brockton, and Thomas Caterino, of Cape Coral, Florida; and nephew to John Giovanni, of Moosup, Connecticut. He was also loved by his great aunts, uncles and many cousins. He is predeceased by his grandmother Arlene Caterino and great-grandparents Anna and Henry Giovanni.
Raised in Dracut, Massachusetts, Derron graduated from Dracut High School before pursuing physics and engineering courses at Stonehill College. His brilliant mind was always engaged in his passions—whether he was working on cars, building gaming computers, or experimenting in the kitchen. In his professional life, Derron excelled in the restaurant industry as a general manager. His warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, located at 118 Friend Street in Amesbury, MA 01913.
