Bonnie Lee (Harrington) Caron Obituary

Bonnie Lee (Harrington) Caron

  07/21/1948 -08/02/2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie L. Caron, 77,  on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Higher Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill Massachusetts after a short term battle of Metastatic Cholangiocarcinoma.

She was the wife of the late Roger J. Caron.

Bonnie was born in Lewiston Maine on July 21, 1948 , the daughter of the late Edith (Nickerson) Harrington, and Edwin Harrington. She attended local area schools and graduated from Leeds High School.

Following high school, she met the love of her life, Roger, and married.  They had 3 boys, Larry Caron of Salisbury, MA, Louie Caron of Salisbury, MA , and Lanny Caron of Florida.  Bonnies family always meant the most to her and family gatherings were her favorite.  Bonnie had a creative side, she worked as a baker for many years and when she retired, her love of baking continued as she would make decorative cakes for all of the family celebrations.  Baking was her true passion.  At one point she had told her family she got rid of her many cake tins but just recently, while going through her apartment, her granddaughter Sunni found over 100 cake tins hidden away.  Every tin Bonnie owned had its own special, unique meaning and represented a special occasion celebrated with family and friends.

Bonnie was a  beautiful, intelligent, and independent woman who had a heart of gold !  She  thrived to live life to the fullest and it didn’t seem there was a day that went by where she wasn’t focused on helping or giving to someone else.  As many of you know, Bonnie loved frogs. She had an abundance of frogs scattered throughout her home; stuffed animals, pens, cake tins, glass figurines, wooden statues and cookie jars.  Frogs were everywhere!  Bonnie even bought a car that was bright green.  Family and friends would all joke with her, calling the car Kermit the Frog!

Bonnie was a Fashionista, she loved to shop! She loved a good bargain and would frequently visit local thrift stores looking for her newest treasure!  Bonnie would match from head to toe with her clothes, shoes, purses and earrings all coordinating.  She especially loved earrings and had a collection of every type of earring imaginable.  If you needed something for a holiday or something crazy and fun, she had them! One of her favorite pair were figures of Betty Boop!

Bonnie was just an amazing soul and it was impossible not to love her whether you were related or not. Some of her most cherished memories were the times she spent with her grandchildren.  A favorite memory includes Bonnie trying to set up Sunni, her granddaughter, with every doctor she met during all the appointments they went to together.  Whether they were out to lunch, grocery shopping or getting an ice cream together, they would laugh and joke and always find something to smile about. Late night talks with her granddaughter Talissa were always a source of comfort for Bonnie and she loved being a “Passenger Princess” in Jamey, Avarey and Mary’s cars.  Bonnie also loved to regularly wine and dine with her best friends Shirley, Susan, Myrtle, Rhonda and Shay Shay.  And because Bonnie was so easy to love, Sunnis godmother Shannon and her husband would often make homemade meals to share with her.  Bonnie loved these made from scratch meals! Bonnie was also very sentimental and kept every card or personal, loving note she received.

Holidays were special to Bonnie as she would always look forward to spending them with family, usually hosted by Heather, Liz, Jennifer, or Jenna.

Bonnie is survived by her three sons, Larry, Louie and Lanny; as well as her grandchildren, Talissa, Jason, Sunni, Christopher, Avarey, Jamey, Caleb, Jake, Gabe, Dakota, Jonah, and Isaiah with a special niece/grandchild Mary; 5 great grandchildren, Lihanna, Anastasia, Colby, and two on the way; Her siblings, Tony, Blaine and Sharon, and many nieces and nephews; And let’s not forget, her two spunky Kitties, Milo and Max.

Bonnie is predeceased by her parents, her loving husband Roger, her siblings Roina, Lucy, Nancy, Levonna, Elbridge, and Laney; and a sweet grand baby.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Rand Memorial Church located at 134 South Main Street, Seabrook NH 03874.  Visitation hours will be from 11:30am-12:30pm with a short church service starting at 12:30pm.

A celebration of life lunch will be held following the service at Louie’s house in Salisbury MA 01952.

As our Loving Bonnie was a fashionista, we ask for our friends and family to feel free to wear something bright and fun; anything that represents the beautiful, colorful person she was to all who knew her.

  See you Later Alligator… ❤️
