Albert J. Francoeur

Albert J. Francoeur Jr. of Amesbury, Ma, passed away suddenly and peacefully surrounded by his family on Dec.10 at Anna Jaques Hospital. Born in Amesbury on Oct.15,1940. He was the son of Bernadette and Albert Francoeur Sr. He is survived by his wife of 62 yrs.,Karen Francoeur. 
   A lifelong resident of Amesbury, he worked many years at Sanborn & Son Electric. He loved building and fixing anything electronic. He spent a lot of time golfing at Amesbury Country Club in his earlier years, and into his retirement. He enjoyed his daily walks and spending time with his family.  
  He is survived by his son, Michael, and his wife Kelly of Amesbury, and his daughter, Kara Jacobs, also of Amesbury. He adored his three grandchildren, Meghan Jacobs, Christopher and Kaylin Francoeur. He is also survived by his two sister in- laws, Joan Coughlin, of Salisbury, and Gail Lisauskas, of Amesbury, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held on Thursday, Dec.18, 2025 @ 10 am at St. Andre Bessette Church 2 School St., Amesbury. There will be no calling hours, and a military tribute will take place shortly after mass.
